Qui succédera à la Coréenne Baek Hee-na, lauréate 2020 (lire ici)? Ce 21 octobre, le Prix Astrid Lindgren (ALMA, Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, 5 millions de couronnes suédoises) a dévoilé la liste des nominés pour l'édition 2021. Soit 263 candidatures (contre 237 l'an dernier, lire ici), en provenance de 69 pays, qui ont été sélectionnées par le jury, auteurs, illustrateurs et associations œuvrant à la promotion de la littérature de jeunesse. Verdict le mardi 13 avril 2021. Rappelons que le prix encourage le droit des enfants à bénéficier d'une bonne littérature.
Et pour la Belgique? Il y avait sept candidats l'an dernier (lire ici), il n'y en a plus que cinq cette année, déjà retenus l'an dernier, à savoir Anne Brouillard, Carll Cneut, Ingrid Godon, Anne Herbauts et Thomas Lavachery. Ont disparu le Prix Bernard Versele et Klaas Verplancke.
Les candidats français ne sont guère différents des années précédentes. Reviennent comme en 2019 Benjamin Chaud, Olivier Douzou, Timothée de Fombelle, Bernard Friot, Jean-Claude Mourlevat, Marie-Aude Murail, Geneviève Patte, François Place et François Roca.
