{Challenge #15} Lire en VO !

Yes ! Les amis, aujourd’hui, je vous annonce que je crée un petit challenge littéraire afin de me motiver pour lire en Version Originale !! Oui, oui ! C’est quelque chose qui me fait envie depuis pas mal de temps, et j’avoue que l’an dernier, j’avais réussi à lire – fin Décembre 2019 et début Janvier 2020 – trois livres en VO, et j’étais super fière !

Pour rappel, j’avais lu :

Du coup, cette année, comme je ne participe pas au C.W.C., mais que j’avais quand même envie de me faire un petit challenge de fin d’année, je me suis dit : « Pourquoi pas lire en VO ? ». Bah oui, pourquoi pas ? Après tout, j’ai une petite PAL…

D’où l’idée de ce challenge, vous voyez ? En plus, c’est un challenge qui est souvent inclus dans un autre challenge et je trouve ça dommage, parce que – quand même – c’est à la fois hyper compliqué et hyper intéressant de lire un livre dans une autre langue (qu’on connaît et comprend évidemment !). Compliqué, parce qu’on a pas l’habitude, même si on lit trois phrases d’une publication Facebook, ce n’est pas la même chose que lire 200 pages. Intéressant, parce que souvent – et ça je m’en suis rendue compte en lisant Carry On – l’histoire est souvent meilleure dans sa langue d’origine… Vous ne trouvez pas ?

Alors, concrètement, comment va se passer ce challenge ? Qu’est-ce que je vais lire ?

Si je compte bien, ça fait 6 mois de challenge ! Je pense que c’est raisonnable étant donné que je n’ai pas que ces livres-là à lire. xD

C’est un livre qui me fait de l’oeil depuis des lustres et j’ai d’ailleurs tenté de le lire cet été, mais sans succès… Je n’abonne pas ! Rien qu’en regardant la couverture, je sens que je vais passer un excellent moment ! J’ai vraiment hâte de me replonger dedans !!!!!!!!!

Bon… Si vous regarder ma vidéo de présentation du Challenge et que vous avez pris le temps de comprendre le résumé ou alors que vous ayez pris le temps de faire une recherche Google, vous verrez deux choses : 1) Ce livre a été traduit en français aux Éd.Seuil ici, et 2) J’ai raconté n’importe quoi, ce n’est pas une romance pure et dure comme je le pensais, mais… c’est plus que ça. Du coup, j’ai encore pluuuuus hâte de le découvrir !

Résumé :

On part dans un thriller/enquête policière… Imaginez, je suis déjà une piètre enquêtrice quand je lis en FR, mais alors là, en anglais, je sens que ça va être pire ! xD

En tout cas, je sens que ça va me plaire, parce qu’apparemment l’auteur est ultra connu et que la plupart de ses livres sont édités en VF … Je viens juste de l’apprendre, je ne savais pas ! Si vous le connaissez, donnez-moi votre avis.

Pour rester dans les thèmes joyeux, je vous propose ce jeunesse qui parle…de suicide… Ce livre a aussi été traduit en VF aux Éd.Hachette. Et, bon ! J’ai hâte de le découvrir !

Voilà ! Ma sélection est finie ! J’ai 4 livres à lire sur 6 mois, je pense que ça devrait aller ! Je n’en ai pas pris, beaucoup, parce que je veux bien prendre le temps de lire et aussi, parce que je vous l’ai dit : je n’ai pas que ces livres-là à lire, haha !!
